Hay Bales on the Marlborough Downs

On the road from Devizes to Swindon, you pass over the Marlborough downs ... and the road from Calne to Marlborough crosses the downs too. The ancient stone circle of Avebury, the Cherhill white horse, and a whole host of other features add to the beauty of this upland area and in Spring, you can see the gorgeous colors of Westwoods too.
