The early evening train from Swindon to Southampton pauses at Trowbridge

Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire, has regular trains to Bath, Bristol, and South Wales, and to Westbury, Salisbury, Southampton and Portsmouth. There's also a less frequent service to Yeovil, Dorchester and Weymouth.

There are also a very few throuh services to London (Waterloo); this service has had a chequered history. Finally, the service to Melksham, Chippenham and Swindon use to run up to 5 times a day, but that service has just been cut.
