Built for John Barren in Leeds ....
Believe it or not ... this is Leeds, England. Just up the road from where I was
presenting a private Perl course. The "heritage" sign on the building says "St. Paul's
House was originally a warehouse and cloth-cutting works build for John Barran,
the founder of the mass-production, ready-made cloting industry in Leeds.
Barren was a Mayor of Leeds and served as its Liberal MP from 1877-1885.
Architect: Thomas Ambler, erected 1878".
