Sandy Lane timber and thatched church
The church at Sandy Lane is said to be the only church in England that is
constructed of timber and thatch, and was originally built as a place of
worship. I believe 'em! Whatever its history and claim to fame, it's a
quiet spot just a few miles from Melksham, where the religious can pray
and the rest of us can enjoy the quiet tranquillity.
