During a practical

I like this shot because it shows a student learning with plenty of workspace. It would be so easy to pack students onto a course - to overfill a training room to bump up the income - but it's something we will not do! This was a Perl course with 8 trainees, held at a customer's site, with the picture taken during a practical. For public courses, we limit the number of trainees to 7 so that the tutor has plenty of time to spend with each student during practicals which (during a public class) will run at many different levels to suit each individual's background and target application.
