Bigger Box Campaign
Am I the only one to get frustrated when I have to write a complete letter in a text area that's 3 rows and 20 columns - a nice looking form but totally impractical to use when making an enquiry - case in point this morning - about a non-standard travel requirement? Whenever I'm designing a form I ask myself "what will people typically want to put in here?" and "what will the extreme case be?" ... and I try to cater, without exception, for the typical case. The extreme case will be given consideration and, screen real estate allowing, will have a box that's large enough for at least 20 lines of 40 characters to be seen - a reasonable window on his / her letter.
