Right up to the top of the City
Today was a day's holiday - a very rare day's holiday - before I start Python training first thing tomorrow morning, and a chance to see a little of the city of Ljubljana.  Many pictures taken - many of them spectacular, but I need a while to sort through and find a handful of the best that portray the place. But how DO you portray a place which along with its sights and sounds has a friendliness to the visitor which goes in no small part to make it so welcoming. That's deep, and cannot be portrayed in pictures. (written 2007-12-03 19:53:49)
