Error 22

Posted by TedH (TedH), 21 March 2008
Hi Graham, hope you have a restful Easter WEnd.

I've run across something I've never seen before and wonder if you have?

System: IBM T41 laptop, XPPro. A set of 5 CD's are the restore/install. New hard drive, formatted in XP beforehand. CD's ran okay, but upon restart for Windows boot it came up with the Error 22.

Any Ideas?

Update on this. I found some stuff on the net but it all related to Linux.

Ended up using disk cloner that seems to have worked and am running my system from the new hard disk okay.

From what I can gather Error 22 has something to do with hidden partitions, drivers and goodness knows what else. I guess IBM's restore disks aren't as good as I thought they were.
