The C programing language is the bedrock
of modern computing - although you may not come across a lot of
C programmers these days, it's still the underlying operating system
language, and it's still the language in which Perl, PHP, Python, Lua, Tcl ...
and so on are written.
C++ adds facilities to C to make a new language which provides a good
basis for heavy, Object Oriented applications. A poerful range of
facilities has been provided in preferance to making C++ an easy to
use language, and it's also been written to maintain C Compatability;
if you don't need than compatability for a new application, you
would probably choose Java or C# instead.
Although our team was using these languages 20 years ago, it was only
in 2006 that wrote and released brand new, up to date, C and C++ courses.
Well House Consultants is a niche
training provider, and they were scarcely niche. However, with so much
coding in PHP, Java, Perl and soon these days they have become specialist
subjects once again. We have the following public courses on offer:
• A 3 day
Learning to program in C
course for newcomers to programming.
• A 2 day
C course
assumes a prior knowledge of programming.
• A 5 day
Learning to program in C++ course
which covers C++ (and the underlying C language too) for delegate who have no
prior programming experience.
• A 4 day
C and C++ course covers
C and C++ for delegate who have programmed before and wish to
learn C++, but have no prior C experience.
• A 2 day
C++ course assumes a prior
knowledge of C.
All these courses are written, presented and maintained by Well House Consultants staff, and can be tailored for private presentation for groups with varying needs.
